February 2000, Marek, Scymon, Mott and Sebas join their force and create FROZEN.
September 2002, Frozen enters the studio to record its first MCD.
At this point, Görf join Frozen and record the bass part.
The band is complete.
July 2003, Frozen release their MCD.
The distribution and promotion of the MCD is insured by their independent label MAROX Records.
In the year 2003-2005 they have distributed more than 90 000 flyers, have made their name over the Internet, and have travelled in many cities in the province of Québec.
The MCD was printed in 500 limited copies.
December 2004, Sebas quit the band to pursue other goals not related to the music industry.
January 2005, Zasta joins Frozen and fulfill the drummer duty.
The musicianship of Zasta gives the extra edge that Frozen needed to go to the next level.
April - September 2005, Frozen enters the Wild Studio to record the first album.
They choose QuŽbec top mixing engineer Pierre RŽmillard (Quo Vadis, Cryptopsy, Martyr, Obliveon) to mix the album and new comer Pierre-Hugues Rondeau (A perfect Murder, Capharnaum) as sound technician.
The conception of the album cover and booklet is given to the internationally renowned artist Dimitri Patelis.
And finally the mastering is done by none other that George Marino at Sterling Sound in New York. |
